LifeSmarts, the ultimate consumer challenge, is an educational program that develops the consumer and marketplace skills of high school students in a fun way and rewards them for the knowledge they gain. The program complements any curriculum in high schools and can be used as an activity for classes, groups, clubs, and community organizations. The content and competition questions focus on five key areas of consumer knowledge: personal finance, consumer rights and responsibilities, health and safety, technology, and the environment. The Consumer Savvy program will help youth prepare to compete in LifeSmarts. To help youth and their leaders use the programs together, the LifeSmarts Web site hosts practice quizzes that match each Consumer Savvy Book III activity.
