Tree City USA

The Tree City USA program provides direction, technical assistance, public attention and national recognition for urban and community forestry programs in thousands of towns and cities in the US. Is your town a Tree City USA? Check the National Arbor Day Foundation web site to find out.

If your town is not, perhaps you and your 4-H club could be the spark to become a Tree City USA. Why not make a list of the cities in your state that ARE Tree Cities and take your club to go visit that place. See what a difference such a program can make for the health of the town’s trees and the beauty of the community.
