With Magic Artist Studio software you can explore 3-D technology and bring your characters to life through animation. Animation is the process of giving the illusion of movement or life to cinematographic drawings, models, or inanimate objects. Animated drawings pre-date the film cinema industry.

This software gives you imaginative, animated, musical features to create with. Explore the many tools used to create visual images.
  • Go to the Creation Area (blank screen with tool bar at the left) and try out the various tools.  Each tool has different style options such as a normal line style and 3-D Effects.   Tools to explore are the:  Pencil, Paintbrush, Marker, Spray Can, Shape Maker, Rubberband, Eraser, Image Spray, and the Paint Bucket.  As you master each of these tools and their special effects this will enable you to move to other areas easily.

  •   Animation:  learn how to animate by clicking on the Chalkboard and taking the five step-by step lessons given there.  When that is completed go to the Doodlemorph Tool and create an animation! Click once on the chalkboard, use the chalk to draw, changing the tabs to the left as you draw.  Each tab will start the animation, press play arrow to restart if it stops.

  •  Create a picture to put in your Gallery.  To do this start in the Creation area and change the tool bar on the left to a selection of pictures and characters. Chose your picture, your characters and simply drag them onto your screen.  You may want to color them in or leave them in black and white. You may want to go back to your tool bar and try out some of the features and special effects you learned about in activity one.  Save this picture to your gallery and go to view it.
