How do I put in order the action steps for my project?
Put your action steps in order by when you need to do them. It may help to visualize each action like a real step you are taking. One way to do this is to write each action step on a piece of paper. Then place your action steps in order on the floor. Imagine yourself completing each action step for your project as you walk through the steps.
What if I get my plan’s action steps out of order in real life?
Sometimes things don’t go as we plan. It is normal for you to have to adjust your plan some while you are in the field doing your project. Just adjust your plan and try to include the missed step later.
What if there just aren’t enough resources available to address the need?
Limited amounts of money, time and resources to address a need don’t have to stop you from doing the service project you want. You may need to plan into your project time to get more resources. You may need to plan a fundraiser, raise more awareness about the need in the community, or build extra time into your project plan.
